Circa 1890 Art Nouveau Austrian Vase
This is an exceptionally beautiful example of fine craftsmanship from the Art Nouveau Period. This vase is Circa 1890/1900 Austrian and is the epitome of the Art Nouveau Movement. The floral design is dramatic with deep coloration from the base of the vase flowing with delicate brush strokes until effortlessly blending into the pale green background. The stylized handles with the open fretwork at the neck of the vase are a distinctive design of the Art Nouveau Era. The vase measures 13 inches to the top of the handles and 3 1/2 inches at the widest part of the body of the vase. The back of the vase doesn't disappoint with a floral design again flowing upwards with a raised berry motif in the pale green background.
