Circa 1880's Museum Quality Signed Royal Morine Coralene Nippon Vase
This is a very exquisite example of the fabulous artistry of early Nippon. This magnificent vase is circa 1880's and signed Royal Morine Nippon. It is allover decorated with a beautiful coralene design which overlays magnificent hand painted roses against a cream colored coralene field. The handle has a very elegant curve which accents the bulbous shape of the vase. The piece measures 7 1/2 inches to the top of the handle and 5 inches across the widest part of the body of the vase. It is fully marked on the base. The vase is in excellent original condition with the exception of few small areas where the coralene design is missing and this is to be expected with an intricate design and given the age of the piece.
