Circa 1870 Antique Victorian 14K Amethyst Brooch
This is a very attractive stamped 14K Bar Pin. It is reminiscent but not quite rose gold in appearance. It is set in the center with a beautiful faceted rich deep colored amethyst approximately over 5 carats in weight. The bar pin is 2 3/4 inches long and a classic Victorian design. This fine example of Victorian art is in excellent original condition with the pin working crisp and clean. I believe this pin could also be used as a tie bar if so desired.
